HAVEN Property Management, LLC was founded by Joshua Cates of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Joshua obtained his bachelors degree in Construction Management and spent his earlier career managing public sector construction projects. His career later took a different path a as a hotelier, when he took over operations at his families hotel.
For many years, Josh learned the hospitality trade inside and out by engulfing himself in everything from housekeeping to marketing. His passion for all things hospitality naturally directed him into short-term property management. Joshua and wife Chelsea are passionate about travelling and exploring, they enjoy finding everything from the best spots for a meal to discovering secret hiking trails. At Haven we also want to provide that for our guests by creating a unique and memorable experience.

So many times property managers make their clients think they need the manager more than the manager needs the client and that’s is so very incorrect.
Our approach to property management is simple: the client comes first and the success of their property is our number one concern. We don’t make money unless you do and rather than profiting from clients with service fees and setup fees, we do the background work on our dime.
We offer a variable rate commission program in which we tailor our services to our clients’ needs, not the other way around. If you’re looking for a full management service management company or a company to market your property, we offer both and anything in between.
